Utilizing world-class micro-electronic manufacturing technology in Taiwan, the EP 2000 is the champion ECG with superior portability in weighing less than 250g for a complete set of preamp, filter, patient isolation, analog to digital conversion and RS-232 interfacing components.
The EP 2000 can directly connect to a conventional PC or PDA and the ECG information can be sent as e-mail attachment or be transmitted as JPEG file. It can also be fitted by programming the PC to become a DICOM3 ECG instrument. The PC based EP 2000 makes paperless telemedicine clinically possible.
The very high input impedance of EP 2000 can sustain higher motion artifact for the application of stress ECG or allowing the use of dry electrode and thus further reduce the operation cost by using regular paper and reusable electrodes. It also provides much more patient satisfaction as patients suffer less motion artifact and has less complaints about discomfort of gel use.
